Bio

Mary Ann Toman is an accomplished documentary and television editor. Credits include Art21’s Peabody Award-winning documentary “William Kentridge: Anything is Possible” as well as the Emmy-winning series Reel 13 and NYC Arts both on WNET/Thirteen. Independent documentaries include “I Sing Beijing” and the award-winning “Losing It.” Additional television credits include work for A&E, VH1, and PBS, as well as Emmy-nominated segments for New York Voices on WNET/Thirteen. As a producer/director, Mary Ann has created a series of profiles for the Ms Foundation for Women. Her documentary, The Female Offender, was screened internationally including New Directors/New Films and the Leipzig Documentary Festival.
